Thai Fest 2008

Woo Hoo for Thai Fest!!

The weather was dicey in the beginning, but the rain stopped, the food was delicious, the dancers were talented, and the friends were fabulous! Nanna, Autie M and Uncle Ewan came out, too, and enjoyed feeding T his lunch. (Or wait - maybe that's me that enjoyed the little break from attempting to feed a squirming critter pad thai on my lap...)

T's favorite thing about the event was the naga (snake) sculpture in the garden.

We enjoyed catching up with our Thai-adoption friends, and meeting great new ones, too.

How fun for you to enjoy the Thai Fest. I think it is great that they hold these celebrations to allow families to get together with our children from Thailand and other parts of the world. Thanu is adorable and I enjoyed the photo of him in front of the snake statue.

Thai Fest is in Madison, WI at Olbrich Gardens. It's organized by the Thai Student/Alumni Association on campus.
