BKK protests

If you haven't heard, things aren't going so well in Bangkok. Protests over the prime minister have led to a state of emergency and workers are threatening to shut down public services (like electricity and air service) until the prime minister steps down.

Needless to say, this could have an affect on adoptions. Our thoughts are with families who are there or traveling soon and the children waiting for them. We hope for a speedy and complete resolution.

If you want more details, you can always read more at the Bangkok Post.

Hi guys! I'm finally getting around to reading some blogs again. The whole protest thing is crazy. Around 8:30pm the night before our DSDW meeting Pat called us and said our interview might be cancelled b/c of the protests and traffic problems!!! We were so grateful to hear the next morning the were still happening. And we're glad to be home. : )
